Borny & His Band

Бьерн Эрленд Валберг (22), более известный по сценическому псевдониму Borny, по словам многих является одним из изысканнейших молодых блюзовых гитаристов Норвегии. За очень короткое время он стал известен среди любителей блюза по всему миру, включая также и маститых музыкантов, таких, как Ронни Эрл, Джимми Вон и других.

Эйвинд Валберг (18) - двоюродный брат Borny, вместе они играют уже много лет. Несмотря на свой юный возраст, его уже признали таланливым уникальным гитаристом, обладающим изумительным чутьем блюзового жанра. Молодые музыканты сыграли вместе уже много концертов в Норвегии, в частности, на больших блюзовых фестивалях, таких, как Bragdøya Blues Festival, и на крупнейшем в Европе - Notodden Blues Festival.

В Нотоддене на фестивале 2008-го года братья-гитаристы принимали участие в концертах Объединенного Блюзового Кубка со своей группой Borny's Northern Lights. Несмотря на то, что они не выиграли в этом конкурсе, но все же получили престижную награду "Самые талантливые гитаристы" из рук легендарного норвежского блюзового гитариста-виртуоза Кида Андерсена.

В российском концертном турне к братьям-гитаристам присоединятся два высокоталантливых и опытных музыканта: Эйрик Бергене, который широко известен по всей Норвегии и за рубежом как исполнитель на губной гармонике. Но на этот раз он будет частью ритм-секции группы, играя на бас-гитаре. Второй участник – Ярослав Писарев – один из лучших блюзовых барабанщиков России, многие годы активно выступающий с The Chill Out Blues Band и дуэтом PMS. Он добавит группе жару специально для этого проекта.

Bjorn Erlend Walberg (22), better known by his artistic name Borny, is by many considered to be one of Norway's finest guitar players within the genre blues. In a very limited time, he has gained recognition from many music lovers worldwide and also a long line of fine musicians, such as Ronnie Earl, Jimmie Vaughan and others.

Eivind Walberg (18) is the cousin of Borny and they have played together for many years. Despite his young age he has already proven to be unique talent on the blues guitar, showing a remarkable understanding for the genre. The young guitar players have already played a handful of concerts in Norway, including big blues festivals such as Bragdoya Blues Festival and Notodden Blues Festival.

During Notodden Blues Festival in 2008 the two guitar players attended The Union Blues Cup with their own band Borny's Northern Lights. Although they didn't win the actual competition, they did share the prestigious award "Most talented guitar player", awarded to them by legendary Norwegian blues guitar ace Kid Anderson.

On this tour the young guitar players will be accompanied by two highly skilled and experienced musicians: Eirik Bergene is widely known across Norway and many other countries for his remarkable skills on the harmonica. On this tour, however, he will be a part of the band's rhythm section playing the bass. Yaroslav Pisarev is one of Russia's finest blues drummers and has been playing actively with The Chill Out Blues Band and PMS duo for years. He will be adding his hot groove to the band exclusively for this project.
